According to SHFE weekly inventory report, copper stockpiles rebounded for the first time in six weeks, increased almost 4,000 tonnes. And copper imports would increase as well. Spot price at high price level 43,000-45,000 yuan per tonne frustrated several consumers, who expected copper price could consolidate then considered to purchase. Although demand in April had improved and increased, output by domestic smelting companies and copper imports both increased according to State Statistics Bureau and China Custom data, price is facing adjustment risk.
